Well, as much as I hate to do it, I am pushing the release date of Pathfinder back a couple of weeks. The original release date was 3 December and if you’re one of the six pre-orders, I’m so sorry, but the new date will be 31 December.
Life has been absolutely chaotic since the release of ITLOTM and I am barely treading water as is. Throw in a book release in the middle of a move, a husband coming home after seven months apart, a teenager, a puppy, integrating said puppy and feral cat (who hasn’t been with us in five months) into a house together, sitting in an empty house because our household goods haven’t been delivered yet, and, and, and… it’s just not going to happen.
I realize that, with the holidays coming up, I am going to be spread incredibly thin and even a four week bump in release date probably wont do much to help that, but it’s something. And it’s something that will keep me from getting penalized on KDP so I’m going to shoot for it.
The good news is, the finale in the trilogy, The God’s Wife, is already in the editors hands. So it will just have to go to beta readers and then I’ll do my last passes, and that’ll be it! Fingers crossed there wont be much of a gap between book 2 and 3!
Thanks for your patience and understanding. I’ve said it all year long–Indie Publishing comes with a lot of risk, reward, and many a lesson learned the hard way. One day I’ll have my shit together, but that day is not today!

I feel like that’s a pretty good reason to push a release…
