In the Wild

This week my first novel was released out into the wild! It is a surreal feeling to be getting photos of friends with MY book in their hands!

I’ve wanted to be a published author ever since I can remember. There wasn’t a time that went by when that wasn’t the dream–even in and amongst the astronaut/tornado chaser/broadway star dreams of my youth…published author was always there, quietly waiting to be realized.

On Tuesday the 25th, my friends and family gathered together to celebrate a dream realized and it was incredible! It was such a joy to see the people who love and support me come together to celebrate and get excited with me! We had food (including some of the best baklava I’ve ever had), a specially crafted mocktail just for the release made by some of my besties, I signed books, the covers for all three books in the trilogy were on display, and I even read the prologue out loud to a room full of people! It was everything I could have dreamed of and more from a book release!
